Printing will not start, with the "Temperature control ongoing" message

  • Please check the following contents.

1. This message is shown when a heater has not reached the preset temperature of the printer.
Printing operation is performed within ±2°C from the preset temperature. Wait until the preset temperature is achieved (the green heater lamp lights). An orange heater lamp means heating.
Printing is possible with or without an orange lamp.

2. When you check on the heater lamps to find that all the PRE, PRINT (PRT), and POST (AFT) lamps do not light
(Item in parentheses () is the display name of the heater)

1)The machine may be waiting for being naturally cooled after you decrease the preset temperature value.
In such case, help the printer be cooled down, for example, by removing the media.

2)In summer, the ambient temperature may be higher than the preset temperature of the printer.
(Example: The heater setting is 30°C, but the ambient temperature is 35°C)

Printing operation is performed within ±2°C from the preset temperature. Therefore, the ambient temperature needs to be lowered.
(Even when the room temperature is lowered to 32°C for the printer preset temperature of 30°C, it may take time for the printer to detect it as 32°C.)
If you cannot lower the ambient temperature, you may start printing at the current temperature by pressing the ENTER key. Because it is performed out of the preset temperature range, you need to check on the printing result.
