• Please check if the front cover and the maintenance cover are closed, and check if the Emergency switches are not pressed.

When the printer cover is opened, "Please close the cover" is displayed for safety and operation is disabled.
Check the front cover and both maintenance covers and make sure to close it tightly.
Also, when the emergency switch is pressed, operation is disabled.
Pull the emergency switch upward (or rotate it clockwise) to release it.
*Emergency switch is optional for 3042MkII/3042MkII e, please follow the step above if the emergency switch is equipped on the machine.
