The serial number (an 8-digit alphanumeric code that starts with D) is located next to the model name on the machine label on the back of the plotter.

1. On the LOCAL screen, press the FUNC1 key -> to enter <FUNCTION>.

2. Select [INFORMATION] using "∧" and "∨" keys and press the [ENTER/HOLD] key.

3. Select [SERIAL NO.] using the "∧" and "∨" keys and press the [ENTER/HOLD] key -> The serial number will be displayed.

4. Once you have verified the information, press the [END] key several times to exit the <FUNCTION> menu and return to the [LOCAL] screen.
