• Specify the head and nozzle number. For more details, please refer below.

The NOZZLE RECOVERY function allows you to register and avoid using nozzle numbers that have experienced nozzle dropout, and instead, it enables you to use different nozzles for printing.


1. On the LOCAL mode screen, press the FUNC1 key to select [MENU].

2. Select [MAINTENANCE] > [RECOVERY] > [PRINT].
  Printing of the nozzle pattern will start.

3. Use the Up & Down keys to select [Entry].

4. Use the Up & Down keys to choose the nozzle row you want to recover.

* Nozzle rows are designated as Head 1 to 4 from left to right, and A to B from left to right.
 Select using the image above as a reference.

5.  Choose the nozzle number you want to recover.
   Select the number you want to register, refer to the figure below to specify the nozzle number
   and press the [ENTER] key to confirm.

6. After completing the nozzle registration, press the END key several times to return
   to the [LOCAL] screen.

The registration is now complete.
