A wide range of print modes are available to suit your work, from the fastest mode of 135m²/h, to Draft mode of 69m²/h, and to High Quality mode of 21m²/h.
In Draft mode, it achieves about 138% productivity compared to our conventional machine (TS55-1800).
When outputting a 1200 x 2400 mm sized print, the number of printed pieces per hour has been improved from approximately 13 to 18 pcs., which will be able to meet the market needs for high production.

- New technology realizing high image quality
A new drop technology "Mimaki Weaving Dot Technology" expressing high-quality images suppresses an impact on printing caused by the individual difference of the head and misalignment in stagger adjustment and optimizes firing order, thereby realizing more accurate ink landing.
This makes it possible to reproduce deep colors vividly without unevenness and realizes beautiful print quality.
Two options for low running costs in production
The "10kg ink tank supply unit 2" and the "Mini jumbo roll unit" are two options that can be used to reduce production costs.
The 10kg ink tank supply unit 2 reduces the cost per cc compared to a standard 2L ink pack. The capability of continuous printing for a long time helps to reduce machine downtime, too.
The "Mini jumbo roll unit" can be used to load long transfer paper, further minimizing running costs.

Stable operation by new conveyance mechanism with renewed conveyance control
Take-up device and Media edge guide
The motor of the take-up device is mounted on both sides. In conventional models, the drive motor was installed only on one side, but by installing it on both right and left sides, the force applied during winding is equal on both sides and improving the stability of winding.
The newly designed media-edge guide reduces misalignment due to media meandering, that ensures the print for a long time.
Post-heater
High durability materials are used for the post heater to reduce abrasion caused by the transfer paper feeding, preventing transfer paper feeding failures to ensure stable printing.

- DAS (Dot Adjustment System):
The printer automatically adjusts and optimizes the dot positioning and feed volume affecting print quality, corresponding to changes in the target media and printing conditions. - Waveform Control:
Sophisticated ink ejection control unique to Mimaki printers ejects near-spherical droplets of ink for sharp expression of text,ruled lines and edges. - MAPS4 (Mimaki Advanced Pass System4):
Automatic optimal pattern selection according to printing conditions reduces banding and unevenness of color by introducing gradations to borders of passes while printing. - Variable Dot Control:
Three different ink drop sizes, including a minimum drop quantity of 4pl, are intermingled to achieve smooth, high-quality prints with minimal graininess. - NCU/NRS:
A sensor detects nozzle conditions and cleans them automatically. When nozzle clogging cannot be resolved, alternate nozzles are used to continue printing without slowing down.

Introduction of cloth wiper
- Improved removal performance for thick adhesive clots on the nozzle surface
Compared with conventional scraping rubber wipers, the new wiping system soaks up unwanted ink droplets, reducing ink splattering on the head station.
By reducing the frequency of maintenance around the head and cap, daily care becomes simple and the machine can always be maintained in optimal condition.

Automatic media cutting "V-shape cutting function"
The V-shape cutting function tapers the media into a V-shape before wrapping it around the paper core. You can choose between the conventional cutting method and the V-shape cutting method on the selection screen.
The V-shape allows the center of the media to be precisely attached to the paper core, reducing the potential for human error. Applying V-shaped cuts to unused odd ends of the media for single point of attachment also helps to conserve the media.

The printer's operating status and ink usage can be monitored even when the user is away from the printer. It supports planned operations, such as performing other tasks while printing is in progress.
